There are six levels of GANZ membership:
Student Membership of GANZ is open to those currently studying at in a GANZ accredited education and training course or equivalent.
Associate Member of GANZ is available to those who have been in a Gestalt training program but who have not yet met the requirements for full membership, and seek an association with GANZ.
Graduate Member of GANZ (GMGANZ) will be available from 2010 onwards, to those who have graduated from a GANZ accredited course (a minimum of 600 hours over four years, plus meeting the minimum course requirements for client hours and supervised practice – i.e. 40 hours of client work and 10 hours of supervision).
Member of GANZ (MGANZ) is available to those who have graduated from a GANZ accredited course (a minimum of 600 hours over four years plus meeting the requirements for client hours and supervised practice – i.e. 200 hours of client work and 50 hours of supervision). From 2010 Member level will be available to Graduate Members who have met requirements of 200 hours of client work and 50 hours of supervision, -including those hours gained while training.
Clinical Member of GANZ (CMGANZ)
Clinical Member of GANZ requires an additional 75 hours of training (Professional development/ conferences/workshops of a GESTALT nature ; 750 hours of practice using the Gestalt approach over a minimum of 2 years and 75 hours of supervision over a minimum of 2 years of which at least 25 of these need to be with a GANZ Clinical Member and at least 50 of these hours need to be on an individual basis.
Fellow Member of GANZ (FMGANZ) is granted to those who make major contributions to GANZ. The proposed Fellow Member of GANZ is nominated and seconded by member s of GANZ, The nomination proposal is reviewed by the GANZ Council and the Fellow is elected by the GANZ membership at the GANZ AGM.
