Levels of MembershipThere are currently five levels of membership of GANZ. Student membership is open to those currently studying at a GANZ accredited training centre or equivalent. Associate membership is available to those who have been in a gestalt training programme and have not yet met the requirements for full membership, or seek an association with GANZ. Membership is available to those who have graduated from a GANZ accredited course (a minimum of 600 hours over four years, plus meeting individual Centre requirements for supervised practise). Clinical membership requires additional hours of supervision, personal therapy, and continuing education, over at least two years post graduation. Fellow membership is granted to those who make major contributions to GANZ at the discretion of the Council and is endorsed by general membership. They are eligible for referral of students for personal therapy from Gestalt training centres, and can be listed in the directory on this web page. Members receive two copies of the Gestalt Journal of Australia and New Zealand each year, as well as three issues of the GANZ Community Newsletter. They are eligible for discounts at all GANZ events, which include workshops, social events, and conferences.
