Gestalt therapy has flourished in Australia and New Zealand for more than 50 years. Its vibrancy is evident in the development of a number of education and training institutes that attend to the training needs of those interested in this dialogical and holistic modality. GANZ, since its formation in 1998 has paid regard to the quality of training offered by providing institutes with a set of Education and Training Standards and processes whereby programs could gain GANZ accreditation.
GANZ is a professional association for Gestalt practitioners who work in diverse contexts with a range of client groups. Members of GANZ are skilled practitioners who are committed to creative, competent, effective and ethical practice.
