The GANZ Council recently held our monthly meeting, and as part of the GANZ Council’s intention to be more visible, I’d like to give you a mini-report.
Each Council meeting runs for about an hour and begins with a personal checkin. This meeting I was reminded yet again of the value of this checkin, which to me enlivens the Council as a group.
The rest of the meeting formed a workspace to share information, and to bring ideas and translate these ideas into action. In the July 2020 meeting, Annie Garrety (Researsch Chair) gave an update on GANZ’s Online Gestalt Process Peer Groups; Nathan Dick (Treasurer) kept us in the loop about the statues of the GANZ accounts; and a plan was finalised to reach out to GANZ members whose membership expired in the last months.
We also began planning for this years AGM, and then turned our collective minds to the beginning planning how and in what form GANZ could support Professional Development in times of COVID.
I left this meeting thankful for the thoughtfulness, wisdom and energy brought by my colleagues on the Council – Annie, Eric, Nathan, Julia, Aicha, Marc & Michelle.
